His gaze snapped back, but before he could speak, everyone—including himself—was instantly teleported away.

When he regained his senses, they found themselves on a teleportation altar within a strange reception city.

Though a bit unsettled, Li Hongshen maintained his composure. After gathering his team, he did not attempt to teleport out of the boundless wilderness but instead led them down from the altar.

This reception city, though not established by Pengcheng No. 1 High School, had a similar layout. A few nearby buildings bore signs written in the common script.

At that moment, a third-tier warrior emerged from a nearby building. Seeing this, Zhao Yu and Li Li immediately positioned themselves protectively in front of Li Hongshen.

The warrior halted, raising both hands and looking directly at them.

Unlike the rigid, rectangular design of Pengcheng No. 1 High School, this Ministry of Education reception city featured many unique designs. Delicate energy circuits were etched into the surfaces of the city and buildings, imparting a distinct aesthetic beauty.

Most striking was the energy dome floating overhead. Several towering energy pylons emitted nearly vertical streams of energy into the sky; these streams interconnected to form a thin energy membrane. Li Hongshen found it remarkably lavish.

He also noticed an unusual abundance of beasts flying overhead in groups, passing by the city without seeming to notice its presence. This gave him a new understanding of the energy shield’s function.

It appeared to serve as a cloaking barrier, but Li Hongshen wasn’t sure which method it employed—physical mimicry, physical invisibility, or a psychic repulsion that reduced the city’s presence.

As Li Hongshen studied the city’s structure, the staff member returned.
