Free First-Chapter Sales Report and Expressing My Gratitude!

Aging Superstar Foolish and Ordinary QD 1323 words 2026-03-24 21:13:39

As of 0:01 this morning, the final first-day subscription count settled at 3,951.

How should I put this result?

Strictly speaking, it reached the threshold for a premium debut, but because I released another five chapters yesterday afternoon, the official premium badge didn't show up on the first day.

Although it falls short of my personal expectations for this book, it is still an acceptable outcome.

To be honest, my feelings are somewhat complicated.

I have poured more heart and soul into this book than into any other during my three years in this profession. In terms of character design, plot development, and prose refinement, I believe I have performed at my absolute peak.

That means this result represents my true current level.

I have given it my all, so I accept this outcome with a calm mind. It simply shows that my efforts are still not enough, and I must push myself harder.

This book carries the expectations of so many people.

First of all, my dearest wife—Miss Ren. To give me peace of mind while writing, she even granted me an amnesty from household chores like cleaning the house, washing dishes, and putting the kids to sleep. What a tremendous sacrifice!

Our moderators and lovely administrators, veterans from my previous books, Sky, Zhang Weiyu, Mingming, Dandan, Changsheng, Bureau Chief, Crab, Erwang...

So many brothers and sisters have offered their support and encouragement since the very beginning, and every single bit of it is etched in my heart.

Please rest assured, though; no one needs to comfort me, and don't take this as dejection.

We have only just begun.

Where does this even rank in the grand scheme of things?

I have countless times drawn spiritual strength from written words. This time, as I approach my thirties, I am trying to contribute my own strength through my own writing.

In the story, Old Man Li strives endlessly in the entertainment industry despite his white hair and advancing years. Beyond the story, there should also be a chubby little guy whose debut subscriptions fell short of expectations, yet who refuses to stop striving—using hard work and dedication to stage a counterattack.

That's right, this chubby guy is none other than yours truly: me, Silly Mortal QD.

No need for too many words. The future is long, and you will all watch how I climb upward.

Next comes the expression of gratitude!

Although the initial subscriptions didn't reach my anticipated target, approaching four thousand is, to be frank... well, if my initial goal hadn't been set so high, haha, I would be smiling in my sleep over these numbers.

Thank you all for your tremendous support!

Finally, special thanks to Brother Feng, who has always stayed hidden beneath the surface, secretly tipping and casting recommendation votes. I shall burn a stick of incense for your soul, hoping you spring back to life soon!

Last of all, I'll repeat this: the Jianghu is vast, and the future is long. Thank you all, and I sincerely hope you will continue to walk alongside me on this journey as we keep climbing upward.

Erchun.
