Chapter 72: Changing Swimsuits

Night fell.

Nangong Yuchen and Nangong Kexin returned home a little after nine. After taking turns showering, they planned to go straight to sleep. Their experience on Illusory Island had been exhausting.

After turning off the lights, Yuchen lay back down on his bedroll and had just closed his eyes when Kexin spoke hesitantly.

“Yuchen, can we not go tomorrow?”

“What’s wrong, Kexin? You’ve been acting strange ever since we got back. Is something bothering you?” Yuchen asked in confusion.

“Oh. Then just turn Xia Ruli and the others down.” Yuchen himself had little interest in the water park. As far as he was concerned, it made no difference whether they went or not.

After a while, Kexin stammered again, “Yu-Yuchen, help me…”

Unfortunately, Yuchen had already fallen asleep and did not hear her.

Yuchen’s phone rang incessantly at the crack of dawn, waking them both.

“Kexin, hurry up! We’re meeting in District B!”

Having been woken twice, Yuchen and Kexin could no longer sleep. They had no choice but to get up and wash.

Once they had finished getting ready, they set out for the station in District B. On the bus, Yuchen looked at Kexin and sincerely exclaimed, “Beautiful.”

That day, she had deliberately pinned her dark hair high, revealing her long, snow-white neck. Qinghu Town lay east of District C, while Luoting was situated south of District B.

The vehicle traveled along the highway for two full hours before finally reaching its destination.

By then, it was noon. The five of them got off the bus, ate something in town, and then began walking toward the entrance of the water park.

“There are so many people!”

They had not seen many people in the town itself, but the moment they reached the amusement park entrance, they were astonished by the sea of humanity before them.

Since the crowd was enormous, Yuchen had no choice but to call Le Han and ask where he was.

“The boss told me to come!” Before Yuchen could say a word, Le Han had already betrayed him in front of the girls.

“Heh-heh!” Seeing the awkward atmosphere, Le Han realized he had gone too far. He quickly pulled several tickets from his pocket. “I stood in line for ages to get these. Come on, let’s get inside!”

At last, the six of them squeezed through the crowd and entered the changing area inside the park.

Yuchen and Le Han entered the men’s changing room, while the four girls went into the women’s.

A few minutes later, the two men emerged in their swimming trunks. Since they were both men, they had changed quickly, and now they waited for the girls to come out.
