Chapter 15: My Darlings, Time for Your Meal!

On the way back from the hospital to the Wen family estate, Wen Miaohan had been surfing online, eagerly waiting to see what new mess Zhuang Xu would cause next. She stayed online the whole time but never responded to Zhuang Xu’s antics, and that alone was enough to send the ship fans into a frenzy of joy.
After all, Wen Miaohan’s recent victories were well-documented. When Fang Le and Cheng Xiaoxiao slandered her, she always fought back immediately.
The ecstatic ship fans danced even more wildly, dragging many onlookers into the frenzy with them.
Zhuang Xu watched as his follower count kept climbing, a permanent smile tugging at his lips. Last night’s investment had truly paid off!
Wen Miaohan sneered coldly. “Fine. The higher you stand, the harder you’ll fall. Let yourself bask in your pride a little longer.”
She was too lazy to keep looking at those eye-straining posts, but when she tried to browse something else, all she found were videos related to her.
Well then! Today’s spotlight was on her, so there was really nothing else worth watching.
For the first time in broad daylight, Wen Miaohan put her phone aside and looked out the car window at the scenery.
What she saw was astonishing—the Wen family estate was no exaggeration.
Ah! The grand estate she had once dreamed of in ink had now become her home. If only she had known this day would come, she would have upgraded the Wen family’s settings even more.
[Host, you might be a bit greedy. Luckily, you didn’t set the bar any higher; otherwise, the storyline revision task might have added a plot where the Wen family goes bankrupt for a little while.]
Wen Miaohan fell silent at the remark. She wasn’t greedy—how much money could one person spend? This was enough.
The scenery of the Wen family estate was truly exquisite. As she gazed, her restless heart slowly calmed, mainly because the scent of wealth wafting through the air was intoxicating.
The car came to a steady stop in front of the main villa. As Wen Miaohan got out with her mother, she was immediately dazzled by the villa’s luxury.
Oh my god!
I’m living in a magnificent mansion now!!!
Excited, Wen Miaohan screamed inside her mind. If it weren’t for the Wen family members nearby, she would have thrown herself against the gilded walls just to absorb some of that opulence…
Wen Haoxuan got out of the car next door and saw Wen Miaohan staring at the villa. He thought she was feeling sad about leaving earlier and feared she might change her mind and refuse to come back. Hastily, he said, “Hanhan, let’s go inside first!”
Wen Miaohan nodded mechanically and was led into the villa by her mother.
Inside, golden light shimmered from every corner, and every breath she took was infused with the scent of money.

My goodness, no wonder people say the innate nobility of rich heirs is different from others.
If she breathed in this scent of wealth every day, she could grow noble airs herself.
“Hanhan, are you tired? Want to rest in your room first?” her mother gently asked.
Wen Miaohan shook her head slightly. “Not tired. I want to walk around and see.”
Ha, the original owner had moved out three months ago and hadn’t come back since. It was only natural to wander around the home she had lived in for more than twenty years to see what had changed.
“Then let Mom accompany you to the backyard garden?”
“Sure!”
It was better to have someone with her. If she got lost in such a large place without company, it would be hard to explain.
Getting lost in the home you’ve lived in for over two decades after three months away? That would be too strange.
The wealthy family’s backyard was truly a garden!
No, it could be called a small park.
Different varieties of flowers were planted in separate areas, with pebble paths winding through. In the center, surrounded by creeping flowers, was a large swing and a pavilion.
Wen Miaohan sat on the swing and swung a few times. The lingering gloom in her chest dissipated completely as she swung to the highest point.
Her mother sat in the pavilion watching her on the swing, while Haoyu pushed gently and Haoxuan stood quietly nearby. For a moment, it felt like they had gone back to when they were children.
If Haoran were here now, he would probably be picking a flower from every patch and making a colorful bouquet to give to Miaohan.
“Zhaoyang, the happy times seem so close, yet why did Hanhan suddenly fall so ill?
These past three months must have been so hard for her. If I had known, I would have never allowed her to move out,” her mother lamented.
Her father reached out to put an arm around her shoulder, comforting her with gentle pats. “Wife, be strong. Don’t let Hanhan see you like this. Our family has the best medical team, and Haoran is here — Hanhan will be fine.”
Her mother turned away from the swing, wiping away tears. “You’re right. Haoran said Hanhan’s mood is more important than any medicine. I can’t be so fragile anymore. From now on, Hanhan has to fight this illness, and I must make sure she goes into battle happy every day.”
“That’s the right attitude,” her father praised.

Wen Miaohan’s body was still weak. After swinging for a while, she said, “Second brother, I want to get down now.”
Hearing this, Wen Haoyu steadied her as she swung back, catching her firmly before helping her down.
“Swinging is really comfortable!”
“My mood’s better now. It’s time to play with someone.”
Wen Miaohan stretched and muttered.
“What are you up to again? If you need help, just say so,” Wen Haoyu whispered.
“Second brother, is all my stuff still in my room? I want to livestream and wipe Zhuang Xu off the face of the earth!” Wen Miaohan declared boldly.
“No need for you to deal with Zhuang Xu; I could take care of him with just one word—”
Wen Haoyu stopped mid-sentence, remembering Wen Miaohan had told them not to act rashly without her consent.
“Hehe, second brother, doing it myself feels more satisfying. Let me try first. If I really can’t handle it, I won’t stop you and big brother from stepping in.”
Wen Miaohan wasn’t foolish enough to do everything alone when she had help available. They only refrained from acting impulsively so the storyline revision would be easier.
When it came time for Wen Haoxuan and Wen Haoyu to pitch in, Wen Miaohan wouldn’t let them off the hook.
“Alright, just say if you need anything. Even though you kept telling us to clear out your things, nothing’s been thrown away. We’ve been waiting for you to come back. You’re so heartless, leaving without a word and never returning. Your heart’s harder than iron,” Wen Haoyu seized the chance to complain.
Wen Miaohan had no response to his reproach, merely smiling faintly before hurrying to her room.
She had already memorized where her room was during the walk in.
Back in her room, Wen Miaohan rubbed her hands together eagerly, opened her laptop, and logged into her social media accounts. She then used a data cable to transfer important files from her phone to the computer before grinning mischievously and starting a livestream.
“Babes, I’m here to feed you!”
